If you need it to look like the original but don’t have the original digital files, ask us to scan the original piece.

Color Matching

Digital Printing using CMYK values and toner is different from the traditional world of offset-printing with inks and pantone colors. Despite the science of color matching, differences can occur when using various types and grades of paper along with what a digital machine will produce as its designated match to a PMS color. To facilitate this process, Plumview provides all of its clients with a Designer Guide and Digital Color Match book to help in the selection of colors. And if you are still unsure what the colors should be, Plumview can work with you to seek the best digital color we can find to match a previously printed piece or a specific color look that you are trying to achieve.
